Since November of 2009 Logan Lafayette has been collecting cans and bottles to help raise money for cancer research at the Lafayette Family Cancer Center. Logan has a collection area next to the Coffee Break Café on Main Road North in Hampden, Maine. He has made several dozen trips to the redemption center (as his careful record keeping and receipts will attest to). After returning over 24,000 cans he has turned in $1,213.85 to Cancer Care of Maine to help fund research. His goal is to raise over $2,000.
